CHI 2020 paper accepted!

I am happy to share that our paper on gestural interaction mental models for spherical displays has been accepted at CHI2020! Check out my recent blog post about it on our TIDESS website. I am really excited as this is my first CHI paper as a first-author. I really want to thank my thesis advisor Dr. Lisa Anthony (co-PI, TIDESS project) and my co-advisor on the TIDESS project Dr. Kathryn A. Stofer (PI, TIDESS project) for all their guidance and feedback throughout.

P.S: Oh, did I mention that the conference is in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi 🙂 Looking forward to exploring this beautiful island.

Nikita Soni is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Human-Centered Computing Program in the Department of Computer & Information Science & Engineering at the University of Florida, advised by Dr. Lisa Anthony. Her research focuses on employing user-centered approaches to design natural user interactions for educational technologies for children and families in public spaces such as museums.
